Fashion in the sky rooftop runway show on 7th March 2010, 4-7pm!=)
Organised by one of my church friend, was roped in to model for 2 outfits from 2 different blogshops.
First outfit was this white dress, second outfit is a black long top paired with leggings from another blogshop.

I sincerely wanna thank all for their support! Those who text their wishes to me , and those who turned up: )

Being down with flu on the day itself, further aggravated by the 2 hours of rehearsal under the hot sun and dusty back stage was not easy..
But i overcame it all . =)

It was a different sort of modelling experience for me, because its one by the pool side. haha.
And the audience were so close to us when we walked! i practically saw and heard waine & yvonne cheering for me "Go Lou!!" .

There was so much publicity too, the media, papers, tons of photographers, etc... haha.
Enjoyed the fellowship with common friends, like my choir ic: constance dear and many more. =)

Hang out & lunch with the models after Loreal Spring/Summer collection seminar.

After 3 hair shows with Loreal, Loreal academie' has almost become my 2nd home!=)

And so far, i have been able to maintain my hair length for all the events we've worked together on. Truly, one of the best outstanding hair stylist/educator i have even known. : )

Its special because its his inspiration, a combination of 3 colours, so its rare to be seen outside. : )

Last friday, me & alicia went to Starbucks to mug for statistics mid term paper!=)

She's good at stats,cause she used to take H2 math. so she doesn't struggle with this module,unlike me. haha.

And she has been working at Starbucks for a year, so we had a discount with her partner card!

She also shared with me that she enjoys running & sports, since her SRJC days whereby the school encouraged them to run. So she's preparing for her next marathon now...

Wow! both of us are rather different! i can never run a marathon man.. lol.

oh, and she shared so much about coffee to me!

Things like...what's expresso shots, how to prepare certain drinks, temperature, blends...etc...

Waine gave me a Dove choc that is so cool, inside the wrapper is a meassage thats positive: )

I stopped most of my jobs to focus on exams this week and next. But still a lil busy with extra choir practices, cause i'll be performing "For unto us", with the Millennial choir & orchestra next week, at Svc 2 and Svc 3! :)

My sore throat which recovered,kinda came back=( Looks like strepsils will be my best friend again for the next few days before the performance! haha.
Yesterday had combined practice & recording with the orchestra till almost 11pm, then 1 of my choir senior+JS zone mate, jason gave me a lift to Boon lay & we had a quick supper before heading home. :)

Much meaningful friendships & bonds forged throughout the 5 days: )
Much laughter shared amongst us, especially during our hour long breaks in between the 3 sets of showtime!

I was called the one who eats the most! haha. Debrah will often look at me & suddenly ask, u are thinking about food & what to eat during break right?=) And i would giggle, smile and said yes loudly! haha.
Debrah had her own share of "story" too.. because of her frequent visits to a hotdog store during our breaks, and the guy tending the store often smiling at her, we said he's her boyfriend! haha. and after a few days, she tried to "shift" the "title" to me! haha.

We hear many stories of uni studies, secondary school life and also each other's love stories(except for me)! Ria's sweet long distance, debrah's date & many more.. haha.

Of course, there were lots of camwhoring! haha. Oh, and i was really blessed & felt so blissful to have the support of many, esp. my family: )

My parents went to cruise the first weekend, went to Malaysia for my aunt's wedding the 2nd weekend i worked, felt a lil lonely & home alone.
But they drove me to work before leaving S'pore & my granny,aunt,uncle,cousins,friends( tong tong, jack..)
dropped by to show their support & tong surprised me with a small gift & my aunt bought me a black dress that i like for my christmas gift : ) : )
So loved!

Spent $50 on a visit to the doctor yesterday,throat infection.=(
Today, i finally got my proper voice back...except that i still sounded weird when i sang for the children in Speech & Drama class! haha.

Had a fruitful,enjoyable day teaching today & day out shopping with celine dear! Bumped into julian too.. and he jokingly asked if i'm on magazines again!
and i was stunned for awhile...cause the SEVENTEEN magazine is the only editorial shoot i have ever done. haha.

Cg was awesome, dong yan was so sweet to walk me to the bus stop & we had a good time of chit chatting!=) My members went to play L4D! i'm also craving to play,but tmr got work early,so can't=(

Yesterday was the last day of school.
Today's officially the start of my 1 week 5 days exam study break before my final term papers start on the 7th dec(monday)!
Haven really got into the serious mode of mugging=( Time to start soon!

My bestie in school, Celine dear!=)
She showed her support today, for my Sociology Day (soc101 module) poster presentation.
Her comment on my poster was like a "reinforcement/reminder" of what Miss Hui commented about me in com101 class!! lol.

-Wife Material!- haha. we both burst out laughing after she wrote that!

For those that aren't sure what i meant, its cause a few lectures ago, my lecturer asked us who works part time besides schooling.
So i shared with the class about my part time childcare teaching job..and she jokingly told the guys i'm wife material. lol.
i was so embarrassed & just covered my face! haha.

Anyway, after that incident, terence who shared about his gym job, actually did drop me a message to ask me for advice on how to handle kids!!
haha. I was already aunt agony to some friends, now another "role" is added! =)

oh. and i think i must be really tired out.. cause during the lecture, i fell asleep with my eyes open,i think. and those scribbles of notes look so untidy! gosh. so me & celine went to buy snacks during the break time to stay awake.

They were really supportive to take time off work & stuff just to come down to look at my poster, speak to my lecturer (thank god, my lecturer praised me infront of them, that i was a good student) . haha.

Oh, and we saw cath with some other MJ zone people that i recognise! such a small world! =)

On a random note, the seat was really comfortable! we both fell asleep for a while before the play started. haha.
I thought substation was the one at Timbre! haha. thats how un-streetwise i am! Lol.
Good that Ah sam pei me to my interview at some ulu part of Ubi eunos area. And he even printed out the map and directions! so brotherhood of him! =)

Sunday's studying session with aaron & shiying at KAP mac in the evening after i ended work. Its good to know people who live near bukit timah , and they will go to somewhere so near your house to mug, and u can just drop by to join them if ya free! haha.

Me & shiying had a cute conversation, figuring out what name i first knew her by. And we had some similar lingo too! haha.
That very empty,big, cold & dusty shop space unit that we had to stay in from morning till evening for the musical pixie job.

Day out with Est dear!:)
Friday evening's dinner,arcade time and chit chat session over popcorn.
We wanted to watch a movie, but almost every film's tix were sold out=(

I been craving to catch a show for ages! the last time i watched a movie was almost 4 months back=( i realised i missed out on these few shows that i really wanted to watch!
500 days of summer, the ugly truth, the proposal, sister's keepers & love happens. sigh.

Its been an awesome week! Believe this week will be an even greater one, despite the busyness. haha.
Me and amelia can't wait to catch up during this coming Tuesday rehearsal for this weekend's show event: ) But got to miss choir practice this week, due to work. =(

Today(sunday) was a great day for me! Woke up at 6am, head down to svc 3 with aaron & his zonemate, almost couldn't serve due to my shoes issue.
Rhoda saved the day! we swopped her heels with my flats within seconds! and i served in that very pretty pair of heels: )

Happy that my IC praised me for my commitment! haha. And i was nominated as the "Best Dressed Female" for service 3 today!: )

Fellowshipped and sat with celine's cg for svc & lunch, they are so hospitable, made me feel at home: )
And then i went back to Expo to return rhoda her shoes(we joked abt the height! she's 151cm, i'm 161cm.), and 3 of us ,aaron,rhoda and me went to my place, KAP mac to study in preparation for Final Term papers.
However, it wasn't a productive day for studying, but we all shared about stuff and had a good time of encouragement, cheering on and a time of high-ness too! haha. i will share more after uploading photos: )

And just to share a piece of good news! "Walk the Talk" (Com 101 group project)- we scored 84/100 for our project! Which is an "A". : )
We were all so pleasantly surprised!
Celine was saying that the unity of our groupmates contributed to the success of our project. Totally agree!: D

We had dinner at Central's Manhatten Fish market. Together with tongyan and bernard.
Been awhile since we all last catch up. hmm...since my 21st! yup.
I shared seafood platter with them, only ate the fish cause its a taboo for me to consume other forms of seafood. and they all looked yummy! =(
Manhatten's fish market brings back much memories.. we recalled that the 4 of us really formed a closer friendship from 1 year,10 months & 1 day ago. At the same restaurant, almost same seats: ) Time really flies...

Before one of the twins fell asleep...i sang the same song for 45mins, hoping he'll sleep..but he was wide awake during nap time. haha.

Oh, and i was attached to the k1 class the other day, and we helped them put their mattress covers before nap time. It was so comical when me & gabriel tried to fit the cover properly, but the cloth wouldn't budge, and i fell onto the ground! the whole class laughed! haha.
My tuition kids! ms lotus recommended me to teach them, and i really enjoy lessons with these two adorable sisters: )

A game of Taboo!
I love this game! haha. and its true what my cgl said... its easier to play =win if u know each other well! I experienced it! haha.
Super funny was when i saw the word " French".. so i said :"its a kind of kiss". And glenn went on naming all the different kinds of kisses (i can't rmb how many..) ...and he got it right! so all of us started teasing him for being so "knowledgable". haha.
And samuel said "twilight is a ....". i went "novel". cause he bought me that book for x'mas last year. haha.
This was my group. i was calling " my boys!" and having this cheer thingy. lol.

And it kept me warm at that very cold clinic SATA Jurong East. Ah sam pei me for my medical check up, for my childcare report, on Friday.
I was afraid of the blood test.. X-ray was rather normal. The blood test hurt=( He lent me his 2 fingers to squeeze, and told cg pple that its paralysed already. lol.
I gained 1 cm in height, 161cm.. and gained 1 kg, 42kg. but my BMI is 15.6..and low blood pressure too..sigh. nothing much i can do about it.
Anyway, the official report will be out soon, by this week.. hope everything's fine with me.=)

oh. then we went to Singapore Flyer's Popeye for late lunch with derek and pas, before cg.
we celebrated my son, clyde's 14th birthday. He getting taller ! haha. oh, and he's so cute.. the way he smiles & reminds me about my promise to bring him out to play arcade & lan soon, after his exams are over. =)
