We had dinner at Central's Manhatten Fish market. Together with tongyan and bernard.
Been awhile since we all last catch up. hmm...since my 21st! yup.
I shared seafood platter with them, only ate the fish cause its a taboo for me to consume other forms of seafood. and they all looked yummy! =(
Manhatten's fish market brings back much memories.. we recalled that the 4 of us really formed a closer friendship from 1 year,10 months & 1 day ago. At the same restaurant, almost same seats: ) Time really flies...

Oh, and i was attached to the k1 class the other day, and we helped them put their mattress covers before nap time. It was so comical when me & gabriel tried to fit the cover properly, but the cloth wouldn't budge, and i fell onto the ground! the whole class laughed! haha.

Today's been a long day, but a fruitful one indeed=) I collected my medical report at SATA JE & i'm certified fit to be a childcare teacher!=) Thank God!
And i went to meet the girls at school, to bring them over to my house to film our project video. got stopped along the way , first with a compliment of -i am pretty enough,would i wanna work some part time events/sales job whenever i am free-. haha. followed by much jokes & even sharing of life experiences with 2 total strangers!
The 2 friendly strangers then asked me why i choose to be busy, occupying my time with so many jobs and school.
I just answered : busyness=fruitfulness. That very rational choice theory statement from Sociology.
But something within me stopped to think, is it worth it to be so busy..to start the day as early as 7plus am and end the day at 2am almost everyday.
Yes, i may be stressed but i am happy doing these, i can smile genuinely but 1 thing i've sacrificed is time with friends.
Many have been asking me to slow down, take my time to enjoy life on earth instead of rushing through to do so many things.. suddenly, i kinda agree with them. i miss those times of chilling out/ hanging out with my besties..
But yet, i cannot convince myself enough, to give up the things i wish to pursue and gain.
Its really about the balance: )
Alright, anyway..i was surprised by the sweet surprise from Pris!=)
She came up to me, gave me a stalk of pink rose and said :" Lao po, lets go!". haha. so sweet!
And no, pls don't think too much.. haha. the project group mates just wanted to get adjusted into our specific roles earlier. haha.
Throughout the filming, i was really so gan ga(embarrassed).. it felt so weird to act close, loving & intimate with pris! LOL. Good that vanessa was there to guide me.. haha.
But it was a funny experience la..haha.
After that, daddy sent me to Safra Mount faber for my face-painting workshop by one of my agencies. it was rather fun to do the art. haha.=)
Hmm..super stressed trying to rush my com 337 write up and other work, made me really stressed up over the com 101 project too. So much so, i wondered to myself...if i was too hard on the group, as in..too uptight about deadlines, too particular about the perfectness of the project work and so on... but the very sweet aquidah reassured me this:

I love this game! haha. and its true what my cgl said... its easier to play =win if u know each other well! I experienced it! haha.
Super funny was when i saw the word " French".. so i said :"its a kind of kiss". And glenn went on naming all the different kinds of kisses (i can't rmb how many..) ...and he got it right! so all of us started teasing him for being so "knowledgable". haha.
And samuel said "twilight is a ....". i went "novel". cause he bought me that book for x'mas last year. haha.
This was my group. i was calling " my boys!" and having this cheer thingy. lol.

And it kept me warm at that very cold clinic SATA Jurong East. Ah sam pei me for my medical check up, for my childcare report, on Friday.
I was afraid of the blood test.. X-ray was rather normal. The blood test hurt=( He lent me his 2 fingers to squeeze, and told cg pple that its paralysed already. lol.
I gained 1 cm in height, 161cm.. and gained 1 kg, 42kg. but my BMI is 15.6..and low blood pressure too..sigh. nothing much i can do about it.
Anyway, the official report will be out soon, by this week.. hope everything's fine with me.=)
oh. then we went to Singapore Flyer's Popeye for late lunch with derek and pas, before cg.
we celebrated my son, clyde's 14th birthday. He getting taller ! haha. oh, and he's so cute.. the way he smiles & reminds me about my promise to bring him out to play arcade & lan soon, after his exams are over. =)

*This "cute" junior of mine in my com 101 project group is really quite an SMSS girl. haha. her enthusiasm really hypes people up in the good way.. but i saw that quiet side of her in the train that day too. i guess, we both carry the traits of a girl's school girl..but are different in a way too.
She's been calling me bikini girl for our upcoming video skit...made me rather irritated. lol. and i get goosebumps when she calls us all dear/sweetheart and all those mushy names. time to get used to it!=)
Tmr's the last mid term paper for me! sociology 101! gosh, can't wait.. then i can take a mini break of few days=)

He & his friend were supposed to come tgt, but in the end only he was free. I was relaxing & being happy at Magical Place because of our win at The Arena at night.. that very brotherhood JL 1+2 cycled from his house to mine for supper.
Although his place is near somewhere with a "bukit " too, i still thot its uber far!
He took 20mins. haha. and i can't believe i actually revealed to him where Magical place is!! So far,no one knows it yet..hah.
Yeah..anyway, we had mac for supper at the benches before he cycled back. haha. If only i could cycle too...=)

Worked at my ex-boss 's childcare centre as a relief teacher today, enjoyed myself.. it was exactly comforting to be able to carry the 18months old babies & toddlers and cuddle them , sing to them to let them sleep: )
I did a manicure for tmr's competition, and bumped into the hairstylist again. She remembered me from a week ago. haha.
I really felt that she resembles ai ling in her dressing,short & cool hairstyle and speaks like shoot, in that fluent chinese. haha.
And she asked for my msn, then i think i was deaf, i went "pardon..wo ting bu dao.." thrice! gosh.
Alright! then it was cg at pascale's place. Elmo edmund and me got lost..gosh! i thot my sense of direction improved! lol.
Anyway, i left without fellowshipping to catch my last bus.. took bus 89 to Hougang & took 74 home. Thank God i caught the last bus!=)
Many thoughts ran through my mind during the 45mins bus ride home...Those bittersweet memories. pleasant & unpleasant. they conjure up a vague yet vivid scene called "the past".
realised alot of my friends live at Hougang. from my cg, there's already 4. haha. =)
-when they roamed around looking for a place to play basketball..when she promised to bring me on a tour to Hougang mall..when he introduced me to Hougang mrt and why NEL was convinient to him.. when she laughed at why, of all places in singapore, i wanna go play Hougang playground swings.. when we ran after our last buses at the interchange, and coincidentally look across the street,we smiled when we saw each other in our respective buses..how i freaked out while relating the incident of the drunken uncle in 74..when they sent me to my bus stop and they took 147 home..when he police officer friend sent me home in her car cause it was late..when we sat down at the pavilion near the void deck..when we sat at the bus stop and waited for close to 20minutes..-
